A time when I had an amazing time was
when my high school had Grad Night at Disneyland. I was extremely excited and
looking forward to visiting Disneyland since it was surprisingly my very first
time going there. As a child I had always dreamed of visiting the happiest
place on earth but had never had the opportunity of going. After many years I was
finally going to experience the magic world of Disneyland. All of my closest
friends were also going so I couldn’t be happier. I knew this night was definitely
was going to be unforgettable.
When the bus
finally arrived at the park everyone seemed to be thrilled of excitement. I couldn’t
believe I was finally there. Once the doors opened people rushed their way out
and ran towards the park. My best friend and I looked for our group of friends
and rushed towards the entrance as well. The first thing we did was walk
towards the Disneyland castle where they had entertainment welcoming us in with
banners that read “Welcome Class of 2009 Grads”. There were lights, music, and Disney
characters surrounding us. After this we rushed to the rides we planned to get
on before the night was over. We went on rides such as Indiana Jones, The
Haunted Mansion, Splash Mountain, and other popular rides. Perhaps the most
unforgettable memory I have from this night was when we went on the Pirates of
the Caribbean ride. I ended up soaking wet when the boat I was riding in suddenly
made a sharp turn, although I was incredibly wet I couldn’t help but burst into
laughter. Being wet was worth it, I was having so much fun. After experiencing some
rides my friends and I decided to move on to dancing. We danced the rest of the
night off at some mini clubs. Before we knew it, it was already time to go home.
This is one of the
events in my life when I had a great time. Not only did I visit Disneyland for
the very first time, but I also had an amazing time with my friends. The
experience, memories, and events that took place that night were unforgettable.
Disneyland did in fact proved to be the happiest place on Earth.
It's funny how a lot of us consider Disneyland "the happiest place on earth" and how eager we get to visit. I remember my first time going there and being just as excited as you may have been. Great story!

ReplyDeleteI really like this post. I had a similar experience like yours except that it was with my family, not grand night. It really was fun, and yes, Pirates of the Caribbean is the best ride in Disney Land! I just wanted to say that I really liked the blogs that you made. You wrote boldly about the ideas that you believed in strongly and you really were able to express your feelings in your blogs very well. It was really nice having you as a classmate and friend in the class. Hope you have a nice summer, Dennys!
